At EngWords Hub, our goal is to publish clear, accurate, and useful guides to metaphors, idioms, and similes. This page explains how our content is created, checked, and updated.

Our Mission

We help English learners, students, teachers, and writers understand expressive English and use it with confidence. Every article should answer a real question in simple language, with correct meanings and natural examples.

Who Creates Our Content

EngWords Hub is run by Nayan Sarkar, who holds a master’s degree in English Language and Literature from the University of North Bengal. Nayan has worked as an English teacher since 2022 and as a freelance content writer since 2016. Every article on this site is reviewed and approved by Nayan before it’s published.

How We Create Each Article

  1. Topic research: we choose topics based on what learners and writers actually search for.
  2. Drafting: we create a structured draft with meanings, explanations, and examples.
  3. Editing: we review every entry for clarity, natural English, and a consistent, friendly tone.
  4. Fact-checking: we check facts, dates, and meanings before publishing. If we can’t confirm something, we remove it.
  5. Publishing: each article shows its publish or last updated date.

Our Use of AI Tools

We use AI tools to help with parts of our workflow, such as brainstorming ideas, organizing content, and creating early drafts. We do not publish AI-generated content without human review. Every article is edited, fact-checked, and approved by a person before it goes live.

AI helps us work efficiently. Decisions about accuracy, quality, and what gets published are always made by a human.

Our Content Standards

Every article aims to be:

  • Clear: written in simple English that intermediate learners can follow
  • Accurate: based on facts we have checked
  • Original: written for this site, not copied from other sources
  • Respectful: suitable for a general audience, with sensitive topics handled with care

Corrections and Updates

We work hard to get things right, but mistakes can happen. If you spot an error, please contact us with the article link and a short description of the problem. We review every report, correct confirmed errors, and update the article’s “last updated” date. We also review older articles from time to time to improve explanations and examples.

Our Publishing Principles

  • Useful first: before publishing, we ask one question: “Does this help the person who finds it?” If not, we don’t publish it.
  • Length follows usefulness: articles are as long as they need to be. We don’t add filler to reach a word count.
  • Original content: everything on EngWords Hub is written for this site. We don’t copy content from other websites or publish near-duplicate articles.
  • Consistent schedule: we publish new articles regularly, and we value steady quality over large volumes.
  • Clear disclosure: if we ever add sponsored content or affiliate links, they will be clearly labeled.

Advertising

EngWords Hub may display ads from networks such as Google AdSense to support the site. Advertisers have no influence over our content or editorial decisions, and we do not accept payment to include products or links in our articles.
